For an industrial or commercial building inspection, we provide what we call a 'condition asssessment' of the building, which normally includes major components such as:

• structure,
• roofing,
• heating and air-conditioning,
• plumbing, and
• electrical.

A standard inspection will take anywhere from 2 to 5 hours depending on the complexity of the property. If the complexity and requirements of the condition survey allows, we can also perform our survey based on the National Research Council of Canada's Protocols for Building Condition Assessment.

In our approach, we follow either the standards of the National Research Council of Canada, or those of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard E2018-01.

When the opportunity arises, CCPC works in conjuction with other experts in their specialized fields such as building science, structural engineering, enviromental science, fire protection, and others to provide a broad, encompassing assessment to help you to come to an educated decison.
