A home inspection is a visual survey, or general review of a home from top to bottom, from inside to outside based on the standard of practice of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI). At the end of the process, the purchaser will have a good understanding about the home they are buying, along with a complete list of any defects that might be present. A normal inspection will take anywhere between 2 and 3 hours' time.
